Introduction personnelle
Hi! I'm Kayla, but most people call me Kay. I'm from Indonesia, a beautiful country in Southeast Asia. I enjoy learning about different cultures, meeting new people, and building meaningful connections. I am responsible, patient, and always willing to learn from new experiences.
I see becoming an Au Pair as an opportunity that feels genuinely meaningful to me. I can use my skills and life experiences to contribute positively to a new family while experiencing a different culture and way of life. I genuinely enjoy cultural diversity, spending time with children, and supporting their growth. I also have experience teaching English and religious education, which has helped me develop patience, communication skills, and creativity when working with children.
I have also experienced living away from my family while studying at university. Being away from home taught me to become more independent, manage my daily responsibilities, and adapt to a new environment. I also have experience caring for my own pets, which has taught me to be patient, attentive, and responsible for the well-being of another living being.
I believe a host family should choose me because I am caring, adaptable, and committed to creating a safe and positive environment for children. I understand that being an Au Pair is not only about childcare but also about becoming a trustworthy part of the family. I am ready to help with daily routines, support children's learning, and respect the family's values and culture.
Through my experiences working with children, living independently, and caring for pets, I have learned to approach my responsibilities with patience and care. I am also eager to learn, open-minded, and excited to grow through this cultural exchange experience. I hope to share a little bit of Indonesian culture with my host family while learning from theirs and creating meaningful memories together.
