Introduction personnelle

I am interested in becoming an au pair since I consider it as a rare experience of significant cultural interaction and self-development rather than simply a foreign job. My main driving force is that I do like working with children. I enjoy assisting their growth and being responsible and caring in their day-to-day lives, and assist them to learn and explore the world. The thought of being someone whom a family can depend on, being a part of the lives of the children and being a part of their milestones is very fulfilling to me. The other factor that is equally important is my passion to have a full immersion experience. I would like to leave my tourist status and become a temporary part of a house and society. I am also ready to enhance my language proficiency by communicating day-to-day, experience the local customs first-hand, and have a new look at life. It is not only that I seek a change of scenery, but an opportunity to test myself, be independent, and establish a life-long relationship. On my part, I will offer loving, caring, and trustworthy care. I am a responsible, open-minded, and eager person ready to share the elements of my native culture with my host family. I perceive the au pair program as a reciprocal trust and learning process and I am willing to take all the challenges and rewards to be open-minded and able global citizen.
