Introduction personnelle

My name is Mattia, I’m 22 years old and I come from Italy. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from the University of Bologna, and I will begin an MSc in Finance abroad between July and September 2026. I’ve decided to take a gap year to improve my English and gain valuable life experience. My current English level is B2+, and I’m highly motivated to reach full fluency, especially in preparation for my future studies. Becoming an au pair would give me the unique opportunity to immerse myself in the local culture and daily life, while doing something I truly enjoy: working with children. It’s also a meaningful way to build new friendships and bring a little piece of Italy, its warmth, traditions, and spirit, into the lives of families abroad. I have over four years of experience as a summer camp instructor, where I looked after and entertained children and teenagers aged 4 to 14 during the summer months. Additionally, I’ve worked as a babysitter and homework helper for private families for six consecutive months. These experiences taught me how to manage responsibilities, stay patient, and be creative in organizing both fun and educational activities. I am open-minded, responsible, and genuinely interested in making a meaningful connection with your family. I would be happy to support you in your daily routines and offer a positive presence for your children.
