I want to be an au pair because I’m looking for a meaningful experience that allows me to grow as a person, discover a new culture, and create real connections with people. I’ve always loved being around children. Their honesty, energy, and imagination inspire me, and I want to be someone who can support them, care for them, and be a warm part of their everyday life. At the same time, I want to step out of my comfort zone and live abroad not just as a visitor, but as part of a real family. I want to experience life in a new country through shared routines, conversations, traditions, and meaningful moments. Being an au pair gives me the chance to do that while also giving back with my time, care, and presence. For me, this isn’t just about traveling. It’s about learning, helping, and becoming part of something bigger than myself. I believe being an au pair will help me grow emotionally, gain new perspectives, and prepare for a more open-minded, global future.
