Introduction personnelle

Hello future host family, I am Nicols, I am 18 years old and currently live in Venezuela. I am a psychology student, in my second semester. I consider myself a very collaborative person, empathetic, responsible, patient, and loving. I want to be an Au Pair because this experience will not only give me great opportunities but also more knowledge about what I want to study. I believe I am the ideal candidate for your family because I am willing to get to know you and adapt to you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be considered as your next Au Pair; I appreciate it very much. My experience with children is quite extensive, so I will try to explain it as best as possible. In the last two years, I have worked with different children; besides wanting to gain knowledge for my career, I have always surrounded myself with them. **Gerard**: 4 years old, I took care of him from July 2023 to December 2023, he had language problems. He is a very intelligent and affectionate child; I have known him since he was 2 years old, and watching him grow has been the best part of these experiences for me. Our connection is so unique that he sees me as his "older sister." I cared for him for 6 months, 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. During that time we spent a lot of time together doing various activities, many of which included family outings, going to amusement parks, and learning basic things. Currently, he is studying the second level of preschool where I do my internship. **Allison**: 4 years old (currently - when I took care of her she was 3) (February 2024 - April 2024). I consider her a very intelligent girl but with very little concentration capacity; it was difficult for me to adapt her to follow instructions and do simple tasks; with her, I had to dedicate more attention. However, I was able to achieve quite beneficial things for her motor development. Currently, she is studying the first level of preschool where I do my internship. As I mentioned earlier, I currently work and study. I work (unpaid) at a preschool near where I live; I started in October 2024 and continue there. Working with children of different ages (3-7 years) has been wonderful because it has helped me learn how to manage a large group of children (approximately 25 per classroom). As I already mentioned in the survey, my days are quite basic; they consist of getting up at 7 AM, having breakfast and taking a shower. Going to my English classes which are mostly at 8 AM, then to university (9:00 AM until 12:00 PM), and then going to preschool where I regularly do my internship (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM). From 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM I study for university and my English classes; from 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM I take a shower, have dinner, and relax. At 11:00 PM I go to sleep. That would be my routine during the week; on weekends I often go out for walks or simply unwind for a while; I love hiking and connecting with nature. So yes, I consider myself a good candidate for your family and would love to have an interview with you to get to know each other better. My English is not the best but I understand everything; it’s just that when it comes to responding, I get nervous haha. I hope that’s not an inconvenience for you.
