Introduction personnelle
One of the main reasons I want to become an au pair is to experience new cultures and meet people from different backgrounds, while also developing myself and gaining international experience. I live in Ankara and graduated from the Political Science and International Relations department over a year ago. Completing this program in English gave me the opportunity to understand different cultures and international relations in greater depth.
For a while, I was looking for a job and considered pursuing a career in foreign trade. At the same time, I was planning to open a franchise for a brand called Aja jewels, which allowed me to gain valuable experience in business development and marketing. These experiences helped me improve my work discipline and international business skills.
Additionally, during my university years, I successfully ventured into jewelry sales, where I bought items from Istanbul and sold them to local shops in Ankara, earning a significant profit. This experience developed my negotiation skills, commercial intelligence, and customer relationship management abilities. Even as a student, I learned to approach work with a professional mindset.
On a personal level, living and working in a new environment offers me the chance to rediscover myself in a different culture. I am someone who can easily communicate with people, is energetic, and open to learning. Working as an au pair will allow me to further develop these skills and contribute meaningfully to the host family.
Lastly, my passion for interacting with children and guiding them in their development is a key motivation for me to take on the au pair role. In my previous experiences, I found it extremely fulfilling to spend time with children and support them in their growth and learning processes. Contributing to their development brings me great joy and pride.
For these reasons, working as an au pair will not only contribute to my personal and professional growth but also allow me to add value to the host family.
