Introduction personnelle
I would like to be an aupair, because I have always loved children, travelling and gaining new experiences, and being an au pair would be a perfect combination of those things that I love.
I am a very warm-hearted, kind and understanding person. I'm also always eager to learn new and gain new experiences.
I live on the countryside on a big dairy farm. Alongside cows, we have always had dogs and cats, therefore working with animals is very familiar to me. I live currently with my mom, dad and my 17-year-old little brother Aapo, and I also have an older sister called Matilda.
I have a boyfriend called Veikka, we are both into travelling and support each other's dreams.
I am on my last year in finnish high school, and I am planning to start University in Finland in autumn 2025. I have worked at children's clubs and camps, at a gas station and at a supermarket. My employers have always been pleased with how I work with customers.
I am very open to try out new activities, whether they are connected to sports, art, gaming, baking... etc, you name it! I love spending outdoors to go on walks and find new interesting places. I also go to the gym and I used to dance ballet, which I loved. Baking is very near to my heart and recently I have been getting more into handicrafts. I like to spend a lot of time with boyfriend but also my friends, we like to just hang out at each others' houses, go to the movies, go bowling and so on.
I have worked at children's clubs and camps (the children have been around the age of 6-12). When I was 15, my school offered a possibility to spend a week in job place you are interested in, and I spent a week at a kindergarten and the workers were happy with how I behaved with the children. My little brother is only two years younger than me, but I have always loved to help taking care of my younger cousins.
My first language is Finnish. I have studied english in school since I was 9, and my english is at level C1.1. I have studied swedish in school since I was 12, and my swedish is at level B2.1. I have also studied french in Finland between the ages of 14 and 16, and I have lived one year in the french part of Canada (Quebec) as an exchange student two years ago. I have taken one course of spanish in high school and learned a little bit of italian on Duolingo. Other than my exchange year in Canada, I have travelled a bit around Europe (Sweden, France, Germany etc.) and I am eager to travel more in the future.
I wish to mostly spend time with the host family and become a part of the family. I loved to learn what the daily life is like In Canada, and I want to learn the same thing in another country. I would also like to travel around the country a bit, and get to know other places than just my new home city/village.
I don't have any allergies, illnesses or special diets.
