Introduction personnelle

Dear host family, I'm a recent graduate looking for a nice family to work for as a nanny during my gap year. I'm from the Czech republic, but I have a boyfriend working in Yeovil, so I'm hoping to move to the surrounding areas of Somerset/Dorset as a live out/live in nanny. I have loads of experience with children, as I've been a scout guide all my life, preparing games, activities, weekends and summer camps for children. I've also worked as a private tutor and a latin dance teacher for kids. I have no experience with babies, however, I am confident I could handle it with some help at the beginning. I want to become an au pair because I think it is a lovely job and can be very rewarding. I love feeling useful and making people happy. My main motivation is to earn a bit of money while living in the UK close to my boyfriend, thus the aspect of pocket money and free weekends is essential for me. I am a person who loves spending time outside and being active. In my free time I love all types of outdoor activities from hiking, skiing, paddleboarding to picnics in the park. In the evenings I sometimes go for a jog or I go see my friends to the pub. When I have enough spare time, I like to read books, listen to podcasts, do yoga, or craft some decorations for my room. My educational background is in Psychology and Neuroscience, I did my Bachelor's in the Czech republic, Master's in the Netherlands, and recently an internship in Italy as part of my Master's. I love meeting new people and visiting new places and thanks to my experiences I'm very adaptable to new environments and cultures. In the future I plan to continue with a career as a researcher in the field of clinical neuropsychology. My native language is Czech, but after doing my Master's in English and meeting my boyfriend, I'm also fluent in English. I understand Spanish and often also Italian, but a conversation would be difficult. I hope to find a supporting family in the area close to Yeovil, I could be a live out or a live in nanny, I hope to work during the week and have free weekends. As opposed to other au pairs, I do not seek to improve my English or get experience from abroad but rather think of it as a job. No allergies, love pets.
