Introduction personnelle
My Master Degree was in Social Work, which I specialized in Family and Child Welfare because of my love for children. I have done my Diploma in Child Rights and Child Protection.I love children and enjoy spending time with them. With children i always feel like I’m learning something new, because they have a unique way of looking at things.I have had the opportunity to work with children of all ages, abilities and from different backgrounds especially children in need of care and protection like Specially abled or gifted kids, children living on the streets, abandoned or orphaned children, victims of child abuse etc.
Currently I’m working as a learning facilitator in an alternative school – Puvidham Learning Centre, Dharmapuri, Tamilnadu. Puvidham is works on providing a humane, sustainable, activity based and child-cantered education environment for children. Children will get exposure in sustainable architecture, Organic Farming, Arts, Crafts, Green Product Manufacturing, Peer learning and most importantly empathize with nature, environment. I’m managing the school hostel, takes care of the children and involving different activities with the kids including gardening , cooking, animal care,swimming,playing,studying, learning music and dance etc.. Apart from this I’m facilitating them to learn different art and craft including embroidery, upcycling, origami, stencil art, dot art, doodling, flower pounding, natural colouring, paper quelling, ornaments making, crochet etc.. In our school we are conducting different workshops like return to soil, science for sustainability, home and beyond etc. For parents and kids. I’m involving in coordination of different aspects for the workshop, and taking upcycling and craft session for the participants. As part of our activity based curriculum, we are taking our kids to different places for exploring and experiencing new things. We were conduct workshops , do science experiments, exhibition of our art and craft, nature walk, trucking, tours etc.. In this I’m take part of the coordination and implementation of programs.
After my Masters i worked in an Orphanage named Divyahrudhayashram Chennaipara, Thrissur as a Residential Social Worker. There i had Conducted psychosocial assessment, identified and evaluated the biological, psychological and social needs of children,Provided Counselling and Supportive Care for Children.

I have done my Internship in BOSCO Bangalore. There i got opportunity to Involve in the rescue and rehabilitation of street children, child laborers, migrant children etc. I Involved in Community visit and Slum Development Progmmes,Participated in the activities of Railway Childline, Special Juvenile Police Unit, Foster Care etc…
I Involved in counselling, street presence, child rights awareness creation, public awareness program, child rescue, skill training, home placement etc…
Formed Child Rights Clubs in schools as part of CREAM (Child Rights Education and Action Movement) project.
I have gained expertise in various aspects of child care, including engaging them with games, organizing age-appropriatve activities,assistance with homework, and facilitating healthy social interactions.
My passion for this career path is fueled by my natural ability to connect with children of all ages and backgrounds.
