We are an experienced host family, look for an Au Pair to live in our Brisbane home, and look after our boys aged 4 and 2. You would be available to start mid-February. We are a 30-something couple. We both work, but love to swim, BBQ with friends, adventure to new places and relax with Netflix. Our 4 year old loves being around other people and learning about new things. He loves playing imaginative games with our current au pair, as well as playing trains and swimming. He will be attending kindergarten so you will probably spend more time with our 2 year old. Our 2 year old loves cuddles and joining in the fun with his big brother
We are looking for someone who is pro-active, genuinely loves kids, is energetic and has experience working with young children (especially toddlers) either as an au pair previously or in another setting. We can offer: • Large 5 bedroom house with pool and air conditioning, close to central Brisbane • Approx. 25-30 hours per week. $250 per week allowance. • Weekends normally free, use of car on weekend • Private room with own TV, Netflix and Stan, Wifi with unlimited internet, air conditioning • Beautiful home on land with nearby bushland to explore – great for walking/running, mountain bike riding etc. • Good public transport to Brisbane, 5 mins to large shopping centre • We are a short drive to some of the most beautiful and vibrant beaches of the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast • Most of the time, you will not be in the sole care of the kids – one of us will also be at home. A current driver’s licence is required. You must be a non-smoker and speak English.
