The position is available from January. Ideally we would like somebody to stay with us for at least 6/7 months until about the end of July. We would be equally happy for longer. The position will require about 25 hours a week (negotiation on specific hours, job description and payment are all possible). No work is required at the weekend unless by special arrangement. A good English or Spanish speaker is strongly preferred. A driving licence essential. You must be a confident driver as this job will require taking my son to nursery daily. You will have access to a car full time (manual gears). We are looking for a confident, independent and friendly au pair who is comfortable and has some experience working with children. You must be proactive and use your initiative to assist the family in day to day activity. We would like someone with a sense of fun, who has the ability to get the best from children and who is calm under pressure. We are an active family, so an interest in sports and the outdoors would be very beneficial. We have 2 children; a girl called Clementine who is nearly 6 and a boy, William who is 3. They are cheeky, fun and loving. Your role would include but not be exclusively fixed to the following: Dress children Make and supervise breakfast Take children to school/nursery Pick up children from school/clubs Take children to swimming lessons Do homework/reading with them Sometimes make their supper Help supervise supper Help at bath time/bed time if required Prepare children's

We live in a beautiful town in Lost angeles call Pasadena. You will have access to super fast broadband. You would also have access to a car throughout. Further detail can be sought on application.
