Hello!! My name is Valentina. I'm originally from Rome, Italy but I've been living in London for almost 10 years. Here I met my partner Marco, he is Brazilian and now we have a baby boy. He was born on the 6th of September 2016. I work in a University as a Student Services Manager. Mainly I organize events for them, but also help with accommodation and life in London in general. I love it. It's a lot of fun and I get to meet students from all over the world. My schedule is normally office hours but it might change. I love travelling and I lived in the US and in Brazil. Marco works in a Hospital and does shifts so he doesn't have a fix schedule. Between the two of us we speak English but I speak to our son, Thomas in Italian and Marco speaks to him in Portuguese (most of the time at least). We have a beautiful persian cat, Kajal. He is almost 9 years old now. I bought when I first moved to London to keep me company. I love travelling and I love cooking. In our free time we enjoy going out to eat, go watch a movie but we also love stay at home and enjoy a glass of wine.
You will become Thomas second mom :) You will need to be with him when we are not home which could potentially be the whole day depending on Marco's shifts. We have many playgrounds around here and free children activities where you can take Thomas during the morning. You would need to prepare his lunch so I need an aupair that knows how to cook. Thomas usually sleeps in the afternoon for 2 to 3 hours. I would like someone who is very calm, tidy, with a lot of patient and who has some previous experience with young children. Also you need to like cats! You will not be required to clean although I will ask you to hoover if Thomas makes a mess after lunch :) Finally you will be required to baby sit a few evening per months (max 3). Finally we would like an aupair who is at least 22 and we will not be able to offer you a visa... sorry :(
