We are a friendly family, i am a nurse and the girls are aged 8 & 6 years old, we also have a dog, two cats and a rabbit so it is important that you like animals as well as children! We live near Bournemouth, Dorset which is a really beautiful part of the county - the beaches are very famous and we are also very close to The New Forest and The Purbecks. We like to go walking over the Purbecks or spend time on the beach. Our house is a couple of minutes walk to the main bus area, buses leave to Bournemouth & Poole (or closest towns) every 3 minutes. Bournemouth has lots of language schools which are very accessible if you wish to attend a school, if not the it's great for cafe's and shops! There are lots of other au pairs in the area so it's easy to make you new friends. The children are at school during the day time so you have plenty of time for yourself to go exploring!
To look after and assist the children when i am at work & some light house work. You would have a minimum of one day a week off, usually two but sometimes 3-4 days off depending on my rota. I am a nurse at a local hospital so i work shifts including some weekends, although this may change in the near future to a role that means i work 9-5 & i would then have every weekend off. You must be prepared to join our family for a minimum of 6 months.
