We are looking for someone from a European culture to join our family as an au pair for a year. We have a beautiful baby girl who you will be helping to care for. We also have several friendly dogs so you will need to love animals. The au pair that is right for us will have experience caring for infants and will be a non-smoker. We hope you will feel like part of our family- we would love to learn about your culture and help you to learn about ours.
We will be asking the au pair to work anywhere from 30-45 hours per week. Most of these hours will be spent providing child care for our baby girl. There will also be some cooking and cleaning. You will have your own private room and private bathroom in our house. We live in the suburbs in a lovely home an hour outside of New York City. You will have the weekends off and will receive 2 weeks of paid vacation. On your days off you can explore Manhattan or stay local and spend time with us. Unless you have family or friends in the U.S. that you will be visiting, you can celebrate the holidays with us as part of our family.
