We are a relaxed and friendly family living in the beautiful, University town of St Andrews in Scotland. We have two small children and are looking for a sensible and caring au pair who will love spending time with them. Our previous au pairs and nannies have become part of the family so we know how to make you feel at home. We live in a large house in the centre of St Andrews so you will have plenty of private space (including internet) and your own shower room as well as easy walking access to all the amenities of the town. St Andrews is a small but vibrant town thanks to the University, so there are plenty of things to do in your free time.
9am-5pm (with lunch break), Monday to Friday childcare duties. Evenings and weekends free though your flexibility as a member of the family is appreciated and you are welcome to join in with family outings. Evening babysitting always at your discretion for additional pocket money. You will be expected to keep your own bedroom and shower room clean but no other formal housework is expected - although as a member of the family we do expect you to join in with general family life (helping to clear up at meal times, helping to empty the dishwasher, answering the door etc.). We are a non-smoking household.
