We are looking for a friendly individual who enjoys being in a busy family to join us as soon as possible. We live in a village about 10 miles from Cambridge city centre and enjoy country living - walking, cycling and being in the garden when the sun shines! There is also plenty for you to do as Cambridge city centre is not far away and has lots of shops, cinemas, restaurants etc - and of course lots of students and historic buildings. Some people are worried about being in a village ... we do have a shop, restaurant, church, pub and cafe in the village so we're well looked after! There is a regular bus service into Cambridge city centre.
Our children are at school (in term time) but we are looking for help before and after school times. The daytimes will mostly be free during school hours (roughly 9am to 3pm). Your duties will be to keep the children company, make sure that they do homework, make some meals for them and tidy up after them a bit. You will need to drive them to some after school clubs. We will also ask you to babysit one evening per week. We would really like to welcome you into our family and hope that you will want to share meals with us and enjoy being with us as well as having time to find new friends and develop your language skills. You will usually have the weekends free to do as you choose.
