Our family is currently just outside of Austin, Texas. We moved here just about two years ago from Portland, Or. although I'm originally from California and my husband is from Canada. (he's dual Canadian/US citizen). We have two children - our oldest is a 13 year old boy named Aidan and in 8th grade. Our baby, William, will turn 1 year on September 16th. My husband and I both work full-time from a home office. Neil, my husband, is in Project Management and I'm a Director for a cybersecurity organization. We live in a nice community called Sweetwater which is about 20-30 minutes drive from Austin. Aidan is a great kid - he does very well in school, is involved in the Orchestra (he plays cello) William is a darling. He is a happy, chatterbox of a baby who is always on the go. He just learned to walk! We currently have a Nanny come in 3 days a week to help with him, but are really looking for an AuPair who is loving, encourages his development and growth, and who can become part of the family. Duties would include Will's full-time care during the work week - he loves to be outside and on the go and so we take him for long walks/jogs, and would like to have someone who can take him to infant music & movement groups, library for story time, etc. Ideally, our AuPair will also enjoy being involved in helping with pick-up after school for Aidan and special events, such as his Orchestra concerts.
