We are a couple in our early 30's seeking an au pair to look after our two children while I return to some seasonal work. The hours of the day will vary and will be needed Monday to Friday as my partner will be home most weekends. We have never had an AuPair before but have only heard great things so we all look forward to this experience. My mother in law lives next door and is happy to have the Au Pair staying at her house as there is more room there :) I will be working with her every day so she will bring you down to our place each morning before work if it's cold and/or if you prefer. Any more questions, feel free to ask. Kerry-Anne.
You will need to get our 5year old son off to school each day (dropping him off) and also picking him up again when I'm still at work - the school is just up the road and will be a nice walk on the warmer days. You will also need to care for our 3yr old daughter and take her to ballet classes every Monday morning and possibly dropping her at a day care for the afternoon after ballet. Mariah also attends play centre Tuesday's and Friday's, I'm still not sure if we will continue with this but if we do, you will need to get her there and pick her up - helping the other parents to tidy up after sessions also. Food prep for breakfast (I'll sort the lunch boxes where needed) and the occasional dinner prep would be great for on my long days too. Our 3yr old also need some assistance when going toilet (sometimes) so you'll need to be willing/prepared to do this also. :)
