I am a full time teacher and my partner is an engineer. We work reasonably long hours during the week, but I have the long school holidays and weekends to spend with our 6 year old son. He is a charming, active and sociable boy. He loves school and enjoys lots of play, reading and making things. He is a bit over reliant on technology, but would always prefer an outside activity if given the choice.
We need someone who can get our son up and drive him to school in the morning, pick him up, probably give him a light evening meal and be at home with him until we get home from work in the evening. Occasional babysitting will be helpful. School holidays could be flexible, as I can be available then, except for occasional days when I have work and Child's school is closed for inset etc. We would also be interested in someone who was able to offer a minimal amount of time to looking in on my partner's elderly father who lives in an adjourning flat. Assistance would be dependent on willingness and ability of au pair as he is quite independent currently.
