Personal introduction

My Name is Salma Malash. I am an Egyptian Citizen with Egyptian parents and have a Swedish Citizen as well. I lived in Stockholm for two years. However, my love and respect to Sweden was a main drive to keep a strong bond with Sweden and our swedish friends. I do speak French almost fluently. Now that I have kids myself, I would love to have them live and learn the French culture and get to know the Language properly as if it is their first language. I am married to an Egyptian and a mother of three kids: Hana (a girl 9 years old), Tarek (a boy 7 years old), and Laila (a girl 4 years old). The three kids are now in the Lycee Francais du Caire and understand and speak french. I have my private business that is keeping me very busy and my husband is an architect with a full time job as well About us We live in a house in the suburbs (area called 6th of October) in a compound called Concordia. each one of my kids has his room and we have a room ready to welcome our au pair with an attached bathroom to it. Starting September the kids are back to school, which gets us back to our daily routine. Weekdays: Kids go to school from7 to 1 pm then each one of them has his own activity to do (football, squash, music, art, arabic, etc). On weekends we normally go out with family or friends. Expectations We are a fun young family looking for a kind hearted fun au pair to mix in with our family. The au pair's main focus is to improve the kids' french and enable them to better express themselves in French. What I am hoping the au pair would do is: Do homework with the kids, read stori

The Au pair's job

Starting September the kids are back to school, which gets us back to our daily routine. Weekdays: Kids go to school from7 to 1 pm then each one of them has his own activity to do (football, squash, music, art, arabic, etc). On weekends we normally go out with family or friends. Expectations We are a fun young family looking for a kind hearted fun au pair to mix in with our family. The au pair's main focus is to improve the kids' french and enable them to better express themselves in French. What I am hoping the au pair would do is: Do homework with the kids, read stories with the kids, encourage them to read alone, play and do fun stuff in French with the kids, teach them more about French cultural things (special rituals or specific games that they do at school, etc The challenge would mainly be to do all of the above with the kids' busy schedule. They do a lot of activities (especially the two big ones). They do art, piano, guitar, squash, fitness. The good thing is that during school time everyday the au pair will get to do whatever she likes. Flexibility in moving and traveling is important:) If you are interested and would consider being our au pair please contact us. We would be happy to answer any questions you have.
