We are a lively family who live about 20 minutes (by bus) from Bristol. We have a dog, a cat, a Guinea Pig, a gerbil, fish and a gecko. In September, I am training to be a Primary School Teacher and so we are looking for an au pair to come to us at the end of August 2016 and stay until I complete my training at the end of June 2017. We are looking for someone who will enjoy being part of our family. The right person will probably enjoy sports (there are tennis, swimming and squash facilities in the village plus lots of hiking and cycling and our youngest son loves to play football). They will need to like animals.
We need someone to walk our 7 year old (and the dog) to school every morning. The au pair will then need to walk the dog and do some light housework (vacuuming, laundry, tidying). The middle of the day will be free until 3pm when they will need to collect our youngest from school and interact with and entertain the children until around 6pm. We would like her to make family dinner 2 evenings per week and babysit 2 evenings per week. The maximum hours per week will be 25 plus babysitting Monday to Friday. Weekends will be free and there will also be 2 weeks holiday at Christmas and Easter and a week in February and May. She will need to speak English but will be able to attend language classes in Bristol. She will have her own double room, free Wifi and use of a bike.
