We are a close knit family that laughs easily and freely. We are 40 something first time parents to a wonderful, happy, strong, curious and energetic 9 month old boy. For us to be active, organized, following a set routine, schedule is important as having good manners and easygoing. We are outgoing persons with my husband working for himself and myself as focusing on motherhood. Although, the main reason for us searching for an au pair is that we are looking for that special ¨big sister¨for our son and to help in providing continuity, activity and learning to our son. He is learning to swim since the age of 5 months. Loves the water and is very active ( he also has baby sport class). We aré big lovers of the region and the city. Reading, art, good food, sports and daily dancing sessions with our son is important to us.
We live in a suburb just outside of Barcelona , 15km with car, 20-30 min with train, and there aré daily buses as well. This is a great place to live if you like to go on nature hikes,, bike rides to the beach (easy 20km) , horseriding and yet be so close to Barcelona and what it offers! We are looking for an au pair to become part of our family and bring their sunshine into our home and in your time spent with our son. We are looking for someone that shares the importance of dedication, consistency, creativity, attentiveness and fun. Ideally, the au pair would be a student and/or having worked in the field of Child development, education and/or psychology.
