We are a young family, we have 39 years old and our son is a 17months baby. We live in small village near Santander, in the north of Spain,5min far from the city center by car, bus or train.We are near from Basque country, 45 minutes from Bilbao. Although I want to speak in English most of the time with you Javi doesnt speak English so we could also help you to learn Spanish if you wish. During the weekends we usually do some sports, we love going to the mountain or the beach (depending on the weather) with our children and going out with friends. Somos una familia joven, 39 años ambos y un bebe de 17 meses. Vivimos en un pueblo cerca de la provincia, Santander, a 5minutos en coche del centro. También estamos cerca del pais Vasco, Bilbao por ejemplo está a 45 minutos en coche. Yo preferriria que conmigo hablaras en inglés y con el bebe también, pero J avi no habla ingles. Todos estaremos encantados de ayudarte con el español. Nos gusta hacer deporte, ir a la montaña o a la playa, (depende del tiempo) hacer turismo con los niños y salir con amigos.
We expect from our au pair to like children, to play with them and to talk to our son always in English so he can learn it. We also expect you to help us with the baby, to play with him, to take his bath, have lunch or dinner and sleep them We can be quite flexible with the timetable so we could talk about it. You will have Saturdays and sundays free We will also ask you to look after him 1 day per month fron time to time (Friday or saturday) from 9 pm to 02 a.m, so we can go out. You’ll have an independent bedroom with wifi conexion.
