Dear Au-pair. We are very friendly, and open family. I am a medical doctor, originally from Ukraine, and my husband, sound engineer, works part time and is the main carer for our three boys. We live in a detached house close to the sea in a town called Hastings. The town has a major college and several language schools and is an interesting place with a quite a lot of history. There are a lot of shops, parks, a cinema and plenty of bars and clubs. We are also on a mainline for trains to London, so opportunities for sightseeing. We have 3 wonderful boys: James 9, Lawrence 6 years old and Alexander 3 year old. Oldest, James, is a big personality, very active, loves science and experiments. Younger, Lawrence, is quite, loves music and playing on a computer. Both of them are looking forward meeting you and they promise behave really well when you are here. Little Alexander are our happiness and joy. He loves smiling and have a fun from even very simple things. We have a lot of toys and space for kids to play. We have quite a big garden. Our house is near the sea, just 8 minutes walk. We love spend time going for a walk by the sea, or going to the park, play ground or swimming pool.
We need someone, friendly and good humoured who loves kids and enjoys looking after them. We would love you to spend time with them playing and helping them with homework and general home routines. My husband generally cooks and so you will not be required to cook very often and then only basics for the kids that we can show you how if necessary. There are would be a few general housework duties, very basic, mostly to do with the kids and occasional help with mealtimes. Often my husband is at home, so he helps out and takes the kids to school. I am just about to start a new job in our home town, so I will be spending more time at home as from October. As our au pair you will get at least two days a week off and other time as we can arrange between us. We are looking for someone that is flexible and in return we will try to be flexible too.
