We are a family of five looking for somebody to join our home to help look after the kids. We have a boy (4) who loves being active and hunting for treasure on the beach, a little girl (3) who adores books and a baby girl (6 mths) who adores her older siblings. Our boy is at preschool 3 days/week and our eldest daughter 2 days/week. I am Irish and my husband is from Melbourne. We love travelling and have lived in many different cities around the world so we understand how it is to be away from home and would love to help you enjoy your time in Australia. What we can offer: * Your own large bedroom with views over the harbour. Queen bed, build in wardrobes, desk, your own tv and wifi. Separate bathroom shared with the kids only. * Use of the family car and bicycles * Healthy home cooked meals - you would be very welcome to join us or help yourself as suits * We are a short stroll to a couple of beautiful beaches (Nielsen and Milk beach) and have stunning walks on our doorstep * We are close to bus stops to City/Bondi and Vaucluse village is a 10min walk away with cafes, post office, chemist etc
What we are looking for: * An au pair who has experience with young children * Drivers license * 25 hours per week to include a couple of mornings and a couple of afternoon/evenings (Mon-Fri) as well as a morning or evening on the weekend. We can be flexible with these days and times. * Duties would include playing with the kids (toys, craft, puzzles, garden when at home and playground, library, beach trips out and about), helping around the house (preparing kids snacks, helping feed baby, tidying after activities and meals, helping with laundry - we have a cleaner 2x per week so no heavy housework expected), school pick ups and drop offs, bath and bed time. * Somebody who enjoys playing and having fun with children, understands how to give them freedom to explore while keeping them safe. Mum is home full time on maternity leave while Dad works in the city. We enjoy our kids and spend a lot of time with them and hope you would enjoy this too while living in a beautiful part of Sydney. * Good time commitment 4+ months
