Ben, and Host Mom, have been married for almost 12 years. Our oldest Ethan is in 1st grade and our boy girl twins, Clay and Morgan, are 4.5 years old about to start pre-kindergarten. Also a valued part of our family is our dog Ruby, an 11 year old Golden Retriever. I believe we are great candidates for a host family because my husband, Ben, and I are both very welcoming and love to get to know new people. Before having children we enjoyed world travels and meeting new people. Now, because of our busy careers and three small children, we are unable to travel as much as we would like. During the almost 16 months that Liyao has been here, she has brought a little bit of China to us! Ben loves to cook and will really enjoy learning new foods, recipes, etc. As a real estate agent, part of my job includes being a tour guide and an ambassador to our fine city for clients who are relocating here from out of town or state. I will have so much fun sharing our American, Texas, and Fort Worth traditions, histories, and landmarks. One of the most exciting things about the exchange is the opportunity to expose our young children to the traditions, language, and stories from another part of the world. We live near the central city of one of the largest cities in Texas, have a pool and private bed and bath for our au pair. Our current AuPair, Yana and our previous AuPair, Liyao are both happy to visit with you about their experience living here and with our family.
