We are an active family who love the outdoors. We have two very active boys, aged 1 and 5 years old. We have busy occupations that occasionally require us to be on call, and occasionally have to work overnight. We live in the country, but close to small towns, and only about 15 minutes from the main town in the area. We wake around 6am, and currently the kids are in daycare or before/after school care. After work around 4pm we pick up kids to come home, have supper, do some playing and bedtime routine. We like to try and do outdoor activities on the weekends.
We would need someone with flexible hours, as there is a possibility one of the parents would be out of town for a few weeks at a time. Schedule could be arranged every 1-2 weeks, and could vary in total time from ~20 to 40 hours per week. Tasks would be mostly related to assisting with care for the 5 year old, including french homework. We have a separate bedroom with attached private bathroom for an au pair. We live close to the water and water activities are easy to do (canoe/kayak).
