Dear Prospective Au pair. We currently have two beautiful daughters and a third baby on the way. Our children are the center of our lives and we love them dearly and want to make sure that they are happy and well taken care of. Our oldest daughter Laura is 7 years old and is currently completing her first grade at school. She is very actively involved and keeps a busy schedule. Our second daughter Gabriella is 17 months old. She is very inquisitive and busy, a real handful. Both our daughters are real 'bush-babies'. They love the outdoors and anything to do with nature and animals. My husband and I both work. We own several companies which we run from home. I tend to the administrative responsibilities and he tends to the meetings and investors. Together we make a good team but our family life do suffer under the strain. We live in a Golf Estate in White River, Mpumalanga. White River is a small town, however, we are fifteen minutes away from Nelspruit, which is one of the fastest growing cities in South Africa. We are 30 minutes drive away from the world famous Kruger National Park and about an hour away from the Swaziland and Mozambican borders.
We are looking for an au pair to assist us with the care of our daughters. We need someone to assist with homework, taking and collecting the kids from school and extra curricular activities; someone who will use their initiative in presenting educational and learning activities. Someone who will teach with patience and endurance. We do have domestic staff to do the cleaning and laundry, however, the au pair could be requested to assist with minimal light cleaning up word. The girl we are looking for must know how to cook and prepare well balanced meals. The au pair may be expected to prepare dinner for the whole family a couple times a week. We have been a host family before and our oldest daughter really enjoyed and learned from the experience. We wish to create the same experience for a new candidate.
