As we're a family of five with mom and dad being doctors with lots of work, the everyday routines depend on a stabile, reliable, actively participating person with initiative and the ability to take a decision and cut through an argument especially between the two oldest kids. Of course, we can manage alone, but having an au pair in our family, gives the kids a chance to relax with the awareness of not being alone in the morning before going to school and in the afternoon before we make it home from work.
Your job will be a mixture of childcare and housework. In the morning help get the kids to school and kindergarten. During the day light cleaning and tidying the house. In the afternoon pick up the girl, if we are working late and in the evening tidying up after dinner. We do the shopping and make the food ourselves, but would like it very much, if you occasionally would make us dinner from your homeland. As we work variable hours our dependency of you will vary slightly from week to week.
