Personal introduction

We are the Hudson family, a multicultural LDS family. We live in Moscow, Russia just 20 minutes from Red Square by subway in the southwest part of Moscow.
We are an American-Russian-German family seeking a German speaking Au Pair or English speaking Au Pair, who is open-minded and caring to join our beautiful family with two girls (3 and 6 y.o.). We all speak English, Russian and German. We are very easy going and understanding as we have experience living in different countries. Our oldest daughter will attend German school fall 2017 and the youngest German kindergarten, both of which are nearby, within walking distance. We put a big emphasis on cultural experiences through language exposure. We like to travel to the USA, Germany, Turkey, Finland and to many beautiful cities in Russia.
Our 6 year-old daughter attends German school (about 8am-2pm). Our 3 year-old attends German kindergarten (about 9am-5pm) at the same location. The oldest has recently started piano lessons and dance classes. Both girls love to sing, dance, read books, play with play doh, go to nearby parks, color, play hide and seek, etc, just kids' stuff. They like to play in water although don't yet know how to swim.

The Au pair's job

We're looking for two different au pairs:
1) a German speaking au pair to join our girls in Alanya, Turkey starting July 2017 while on vacation (4-6 weeks). You would spend minimum a couple hours each day (at least Monday through Friday) speaking German and actively engaging the girls in play time, reading books, playing at the beach, in the pool, going for walks, etc. This is a fairly flexible position for July & August and possibly on other vacations to Turkey. We will provide room and board and reimbursement for your flight to Turkey. We request 20-30 hours per week so you'll have lots of free time to spend at the beach nearby or elsewhere.
2) an English speaking au pair to come join our family in Moscow, Russia starting September 2017. You would become an integral part of our family taking the girls to kindergarten/school some mornings, picking them up, preparing a light meal, engaging the girls in various activities all in English. This commitment is somewhat flexible 20-30 hours per week and we're requesting a commitment of minimum 6 months.
We travel to Turkey for vacation a couple times a year and sometimes travel to Finland and Germany and would like to visit new places. Any travel with us would be covered by us.
Our ideal candidate:
- is an active LDS female (age is not so important)
- loves kids
- speaks fluent English
- can help get kids to school/kindergarten in the mornings
- is interested in experiencing Russia
- can commit to 20-30 hours per week
- speaks some Russian or German
- commitment of 10-12 months starting September 2017 (shorter term possible)
- has experience with kids (kindergarten, tutoring, teaching, etc, though not essential)

We can provide:
- Visa assistance & airport transfers
- live-in, room and board
- a separate room in our Moscow apartment
- monthly allowance starting at 15 000 rubles
- set schedule M-F
- monthly mobile phone plan
- unlimited transportation pass valid for all of Moscow
- language lessons (if desired)
- opportunities to earn money teaching English outside of time spent with our family
- possible travel with family
You will gain experience in language teaching, working with children, have the opportunity to learn Russian firsthand, feel what it's like to live in a big city, get to know the beauty of Russian culture, learn about fascinating history, get the chance to find out why Russians live/act/do the things they do. Jumping into a different culture like Russia will give you a new perspective that will change your life for the better.
You will have your own separate bedroom in our Moscow apartment. You will have to share the common areas like the living room, kitchen and bathroom with our family. It's somewhat spacious, as far as Russian standards, and you'll have access to all the necessities of Western standard of living. We have high-speed internet so you'll be connected to your friends and family all the time. Our apartment is within a few minutes' walk to the subway, which will take you practically anywhere in Moscow.
Living in Moscow gives
