We are a family with two children, age 6 and 8. My husband and I are both working in management, I am working part time so I am at home one full day of the week. We all love to be outside and be active, we like to cook and enjoy good food together and to meet with friends. We are living in a very picturesque area in the winelands outside of Lausanne and with lake view. In summer, we spend a lot of time at the lake which is a 10 min drive from your house. In winter, we like to go skiing in the nearby mountains on the weekends. Our house is close to the train station, 3 min by foot, it is a 10 min drive to Lausanne. Lausanne is a very nice, small city with a lot of students and a lot to discover for young people.
The Au Pair job consists mainly of taking care of our children when we are not at home. Preparing meals, taking them to school and activities, check their school homework and of course play and have fun together. Light household work would be required as well. Working days would be Monday through Thursday, sometimes Friday. One bbsitting evening per week, weekends are free.
