We are a family of five: mother, father, 7-year-old girl and boys 4 years and 3 years. Our daughter has just began her first year in school (which is only 1km away from our house). As with children always, our kids all are different: our girl is very conscious about herself and determined, our 4-year-old is quite and likes to make sure "the way is clear" before he moves on, and our wild-boy, the 3-year-old is always on move, loves kissing and hugging. (By the way, we also have a cat!) We as a family have routines, but we are also quite spontaneous. Monday morning you might not know where we decide to go in the evening! We live in the countryside, with good connections to big city Tampere (40km), the bus stop is next to our house.
Being honest is very important for us. We expect you to be straightforward and take initiative. We want to hear your opinion too! Sometimes the job requires working in the evening or weekends, but mostly during daytime mon-fri. Flexibility is very appreciated! Mother of the family works mainly from 9-17, father works shifts. Thus your working hours may variate. We expect you to help with the housework, but your main job is to look after the kids. Hence it's good if you love to play around with kids and you are creative. Because our kids are so small, we require that you speak some Finnish! We don't expect you to have fluent skills in Finnish language, but if you understand some and can produce sentences yourself, that's better. We also hope that you can teach English or Swedish to our kids (however, this is not a requirement).
