We are seeking not just an au pair, but someone who can become part of our family for a period of time, and a life long friend after that. We want our new au pair to have daughter & big sister bond, and feel comfortable with our family. We both work during the day, so would love for you to help us look after our kids during the daytime. We think that hosting an au pair is a fantastic opportunity and we would love to meet you and hear about you and your culture, and help you experience Australia. We live in Canberra, the capital of Australia, which is about 3 hrs from Sydney and 2 hours from the snowfields. Canberra has lots to see and do, plenty of restaurants, cafes, shopping centres, attractions and you will even see kangaroos from time to time.
All we really ask of you is that you are mature, non smoker, tidy and reliable who loves kids. A little house work will be asked of you, but we will not ask you to do anything unreasonable, mainly just helping the boys tidy up their toys/clothes/room and do their washing. Must be confident driving as you would be required to drive or walk our oldest son to school each day.
