The Aarsen Family lives on a farm a few minutes out of Reporoa. They are always busy with farm life, kids at schooling events and weekend sport. Saturday soccer in Taupo and Blake has rep soccer till mid September all over bay of plenty and Waikato. The au pair is very welcome to come along. You will share the bathroom with the family and have your own big room. Most days Halei will be here to get kids off to school. So at 8am she will leave to go over to cow shed/calf pens so they need then you to mind delta (dress her, breakfast, entertain). They will be less than 100 meters away. Happy for you to come over and watch, join in with calves etc. Hours are very flexible. You will work a few hours in the morning and from 3-6pm with all three kids and help with homework, tea, bath etc. I met the family and I see them as a very relaxed family who is happy to work around the Au Pairs plans and welcomes the Au Pair as a family member in their rural farm lifestyle.
Your main duty is to take care of the kids. You have to bath the kids and prepare snakes and lunch for them. There is no special housework to do for you. besides tidying up behind the kids and help in a household like you would help at home.
