We are a busy young(ish) family, with a lively 2.5 year old and a happy 6month old..oh and a Cat and Dog! My wife is German but her german has lapsed, and we would dearly like to ensure that our children have more exposure to German language and culture. I think we would be looking for a person who wants to immerse themselves in British culture, but also be enthusiastic about sharing theirs with us as well. We are a caring and nurturing family, andI think that we would welcome a person who really wanted to become part of the family, but at the same time, we value an independent streak and would do our best to help our guest to get the best out of their time with us. We are enthusiastic about food,being outdoors, good books and good film. Music is a major part of our life with my involvement often taking me away from home at weekends(read free entry to some festivals if my band are playing).
Helping my wife, looking after our two year old and introducing him to German language and culture. Helping my wife might mean not only entertaining our little boy, but also taking him out with the dog for a run. occasional cooking, we have a thought that a family that eats together communicates better, so we will take most meals as a family. Some light housework, where it's needed. I think at this moment we would need to flesh out and detail exactly what we would want/expect
