We are a friendly family and husband and I work full time in The City of London. We speak English, Bulgarian, Russin and I am also fluent in German. Our two children are in primary school at present and we need a person to look after them whilst we are at work. We leave the house at 6:45 am and come back at about 17:50 - 18:00 hrs. We are at home over the weekend, so whoever agrees to accept the job will be free after 18:00 hrs and over the weekends. The house we live in is 3 bedroom with 2 bathrooms and potentially we will be moving to Sundridge Avenue area in September. Our children are aged 7 and 10 (girl and boy) and we are very positive and modern family. We will be happy with live-in or live-out au pair as long they are available near school opening times and to stay with the children after school before we come back from work. We have a spare room and bathroom for the au pair and a shared living room. Our house comprises of ground and first floor with a large garden and is 5 minutes walk from Grove Park train station. We will be moving in a larger size house once refurbishment is completed in the new house.
We would like to have a calm, reliable and educated au pair from mid April - May 2015 onward to look after our two children for long term. Duties mainly include helping them getting ready in the morning for school (incl. breakfast, toothbrush, ensure fully dressed, hair done, excellent presentation), school run at 08:40 am and pick up from school at 15:15 (14:15 on Friday). The school is 7 minutes walk from our house. My daughter is 7 years and my son - 10 years old. Then the au pair should stay with the children until I get back from work at about 17:50 - 18:00 hrs and help with the their homeworks. We can discuss and negotiate terms and conditions. We are off over the weekend and the au pair will have the weekend free. Most of the Bank holidays too. Ideally, they should be happy to do some light house work as cleaning on the ground floor/kitchen/ground floor bathroom and cooking healthy meals during the working week. Next, to stay with the children over some half terms as well. We have about 25 days holidays, so when we are on holidays the au pair is not required to stay in the house. We usually send the children to our parents from end July to end August abroad and the person can have more than a month holiday. This will not be the case this year unfortunately as our son will sit 11+ tests in September. Between hours 09:00 and 15:00 the au pair should be flexible to accommodate cooking, a bit of house work and of course free time for themselves. We will require to have a signed agreement with the au pair regarding the tasks, hours and any notices, just to ensure they will not leave accidentally. Please do drop me a line if you have any questions and we can arrange a coffee/tea meeting to get to know each other. Please state your fee/pay requirements.
