Dear Au Pair, We are looking for a new Au Pair as our current au pair is leaving earlier than expected due to personal reasons. We are looking for someone who loves kids and enjoys playing with them, but also is able to handle conflicts and help with getting dressed and read on time. Our new au pair needs to have a driving licence and experience in driving. Since we have access to a private pool and boat during the summer, our new au pair needs to be able to swim. We have a young dog (4 months old golden retriever), so you cannot be afraid of dog and must willing to help with the dog from time to time. It is a plus if you have experience with dogs and willing to be involved in the dogs training. We are looking for someone active, used to a bit family as we have a lot of contact with relatives living close by. Excellent English or Polish (with good English or Swedish) is a must; good knowledge of other languages is a plus. Children speak both Swedish and English but we would like to encourage them to learn Polish. Education in preschool care or similar field is a big plus, but proven experience with small children is a must. We would like you to stay for a year or longer, but could consider shorter period too (but at least 6 months). We offer standard conditions for Sweden, including own room, 3500 net salary per month (paid monthly), mobile phone, Swedish course and free access to internet. Due to visa regulations we only accept applicants from EU.
The main duties of our au pair is to prepare children for school and day care, drive them there and pick them up in the afternoon. Play with them or organize other activities until parents are home. Sometimes it would include working during weekend or evening, but this would be agreed on separately. It is very important that you are able to keep all three kids busy, which might be challenging. Household chores are also included, such as filling dishwasher, vacuuming and picking up kids toys. We are looking for someone who would like to be part of our family, like a big sister or brother, feeling comfortable to eat meals or watch TV with us, and even spend your free time with us when you feel like it.
