Dear au-pair! My name is Nicole and my little baby girl is called Emma. I was an au pair girl myself in the US. I had such a great experience that now I would like to give this to you. I know that it sometimes can be a challenge to live away from home but I will try my best to make you feel home in your Austria as well. I live in Vienna and I am working for the Canadian Embassy in Vienna. I am very active and do a lot of sports. I love travelling. Our little baby girl is a very happy little person and would love to meet with you. Preferably you are Canadian. Don't worry about German. Emma would love if you can teach her English. Also Vienna as an international City doesn't require that you speak German as almost everybody speaks English. Mind you there are also many international students here. However, in case you are interested in learning German, I am sure there are many courses which will meet your needs.
Your job will consist of baby sitting and a little bit of housework. As I am planning to give Emma to daycare you will also have time on your hands to explore Vienna or to meet with your friends. Vienna is a melting pot of nations, almost everybody speaks English and there are many international students here. So you will definetely never feel alone. I do need some flexibility from you regarding hours but I will also try to accomodate your needs.
