We are a happy healthy family of four looking for a sweet, honest and kind au pair. Mom is a doctor, Dad is working in a small biotech company. Our oldest son, Georg, turns 4 in January. He speaks Danish and English fluently as we recently moved back to Denmark after 3 years in the US. He is a sweet boy, with a great sense of humor and a kind nature. Our daughter, Anna, turns two at the end of March. She is charming and funny and likes nothing more than to help with "grown-up things". Healthy eating (mainly vegetarian) is a priority for us, as is exercise, spending time together and treating each other with respect and love. We are looking for an au pair who is willing to become a member of our family for no less than one, and preferably two, years. We expect you to be sociable, mature and absolutely crazy about kids. :-) We live in a historic part of the northern part of Copenhagen (Lyngby), close to lakes, a park, a library, shops, cafes, restaurants, a movie theatre and public transportation. We strongly prefer an au pair who speaks English fluently.
Our day starts early, with breakfast, reading books and getting ready for daycare/pre-school/work. Your work would be centered around the kids (getting them ready for their day, picking them up in the afternoon, helping them with "school" work etc), but during the day we would expect you to help with light household chores like clearing dishes, cleaning, laundry and maybe a little cooking too. You would primarily work Monday through Friday in the daytime, but occasionally nights and weekends too. You will have your own room in a somewhat separate section of our house with a private bathroom, your own TV and free wifi.
