We are looking for an energetic, creative and fun aupair to play, drive to school/activities and take care of our sweeties. We live in a green area right next to Brussels. Our operational language at home is English but we also speak french and dutch (and some crucial sign language like; milk, bird and giraffe). The level of integration into our family is up to you. We respect your free time but you are also more then welcome to join on family excursions and come up with ideas and suggestions of things we can all do on the weekend. We would be very happy to show you around Belgium and share it's culture with you. Our family consists of: Noah - an energetic almost 6 year old who loves the outdoors, running, trucks, getting messy, books and Capoeira . He goes to preschool. Lily - our cutie pie, loves music/singing, bouncing, books and her brother Noah. Amanda (Canadian) - needs someone clever to distract Lily while she's working from home. She also needs help cleaning after the kids make a mess in the kitchen.
We need an aupair who will drive Noah to school in the morning and bring him back in the afternoon. Grocery shopping and occasionally running small errands (like going to the post office). Some meal preparation and keeping the kitchen mess free ( loading/unloading dishwasher, cleaning up after the kids eat... ). Picking up after children (toys, clothes) -- we have a cleaning lady who comes in once a week so only basic de-cluttering is needed. Taking Noah to the park/playground/swimming pool. Engaging Noah in games and activities not just supervising. Looking after the kids in the evening not more then 2x a week. We are usually back by 10pm and the kids usually sleep through the night. *** previous experience with kids required.
