We are a family with multi-cultural background of Japan and Israel (Morocco and Greece). We live in a small but nice and cozy apartment in Queens, New York with 2 male cats. Our main language in the house is English, but we speak Japanese and Hebrew as well. We are expecting our first baby girl in the end of September, 2014 and we are looking for a full-time au pair who can take good care of our baby starting from Dec 2014/Jan 2015 for about a year. We are looking for a great candidate who is qualified as follows: * Honest, trustworthy, patient, friendly, and loving personality * Cat lovers (cat sitting is not necessary but must be animal-friendly and understanding for the lifestyle with animals in the house). * Non-smoker * Willing to take care of infant (3 months to 1 year old) * Experience in babysitting an infant is a plus * Child care related education is a plus * Clean and tidy We want to build a great relationship with our future au pair in any way possible, instead of just a businesslike relationship because we do want him/her to have a wonderful au pair experience through living with us as well.
Overall babysitting duties that includes but not limited to: * Changing diapers * Baby clothes laundry * Taking for a walk * Assist baby's nap, bath and play * Feeding (preparing milk formula to baby food according to the growth of the baby) * Taking to doctor's appointments when necessary * Taking to play dates when necessary Some housework assistance may be included such as: * Grocery shopping * Light cleaning of the house
