We are a Seventh-day Adventist Christian family with two boys ages 4 and 7. I (the mother) am American and my husband is French. Our boys are learning both languages at home. They are a little shy but love to play and invent games, ride bikes, go to the swimming pool, read and be read to, and help cook. I work in a Christian humanitarian NGO in Switzerland and my husband is looking for work in building maintenance. We would like to find a Christian au pair who is kind, flexible, easygoing, hardworking, able or willing to learn to cook vegetarian meals and to iron, and neat/organized. Our home offers the possibility to speak/ learn both French and English. It's important to be able to drive to take the boys to ski or music lessons. We live in the country so if you prefer cities, we're not the right family for you. Also, we're in the mountains so it gets really cold/snowy in winter (great for winter sports :-)). Finally, we would prefer an au pair who would stay with us Mon-Friday since past experience has shown the importance of some exclusive family time (and some real breaks for the au pair as well!). But staying over for the weekend from time to time would not be excluded. So ideally our au pair would have family/friends nearby (maybe in Geneva area?) or be interested in traveling frequently on weekends.
Taking kids to/from school, cooking (vegan/vegetarian meals), reading/playing with kids, taking kids to music or sports activities, washing/ironing laundry, some housework
