Dear Au-pair, we are a small international family: a Suisse father, an Austrian mother and a Suisse-Austrian boy born in the United Kingdom. We have had fantastic experiences with Au-pairs from New Zealand and are looking for a French au-pair now in order to boost our son's French capabilities. One half of the year we live in Provence and the other half of the year in New Zealand, where we will go back to by the end of September to escape European winter. Being part of our family is the perfect experience for learning and/or perfecting your English (and also German if you wish) in an extraordinary environment - an hour's drive up north from Auckland. If this sounds interesting to you, you might be our perfect fit and our next family member. We will happily answer your questions and provide more information. Looking forward to reading, hearing and meeting you soon, Barbara, John and Théo
We are looking for someone who was able to keep her "child's spirit" alive, while having developed a responsible and reliable personality at the same time; someone, who is curious to explore and rediscover the world through the eyes of three year old Théo. We search for someone with a bright mind, a big heart and a lot of energy, who is creative and sportive, and interested in all the magic that life has to offer for a three year old boy. As part of our family you would have to be able to "walk-the-talk" meaning to role model the behavior we ask from Théo and become his "hero", that he can look up to. You will have to talk French to our son, who speaks English and German already and is very curious to learn French now, too. As part of our family you will be able to enjoy and share the positive aspects of our lives, living in beautiful places, seeing a different kind of life style, travelling, eating very good and freshly cooked food, meeting interesting people from all over the world, but you will also have to take your responsibilities as a family member and do your share of house work (cleaning, laundry and helping out in the kitchen).
