We are seeking a an au pair to join our happy family. We live in the French Alps and we are both teachers. We are very active and hope to find someone who is equally happy to join us in the mountains, to care for our young daughter. We have a 3 story chalet and the successful candidate will have their own bedroom; with TV, internet, tea making facilities etc, and own bathroom.
The duties will be largely child care when we are working, coupled with occasional days out for child care with us in the mountains etc. Duties will also include some household duties. Hours will be arranged weekly, depending on our schedules and one day per week will be non-working, sometimes more. Occasional child care duties will be required in the evenings, but this will be exchanged for time off during the day. During the school holidays there will be long periods when the au pair will be free to travel etc. We have two small dogs (spaniels) so the ideal candidate will be happy to spend time around them. A car will be provided, unless the candidate is able to bring their own (in this case, fuel costs will be covered).
