Personal introduction

Hi there, we are the Scott family and are looking to find someone who will love our children, is responsible, trust-worthy, independent, active, outgoing and wants to discover New Zealand. We live in an awesome country, full of fun and adventure! We also need our au-pair to be able to come to NZ on a work holiday visa. What can I say? We have 3 children. Jack is the oldest, he is 11 years old and a very active, sporty boy. He goes to intermediate school and loves hockey. He is very energetic and super social!!! Yann is our 9-year old boy. He is in year 5 in school and is very funny, and super loyal to his friends. He loves being outside and animals. His passion is surfing and he is completely addicted to it and will go as often as possible. Zoe is our 7-year old girl. She manages well with 2 older brothers. She is in year 3 and plays basketball and rugby. She is super affectionate!! John, dad of the family, is an engineer who travels a lot for work. He is often overseas; but when he is home, he likes to be active. Surfing, paddle boarding and skiing are his favorite sports. He spends a lot of time surfing at our holiday house in Muriwai!! Mine, mum of the family, works part-time as a secondary school teacher. We love hiking and adventures and try to go out for fun in nature as often as possible. We also have a 4 year old Border Collie cross. Her name is Taige and she is the best dog in the world. She is super easy and laid back.

The Au pair's job

We are looking for someone who likes kids!!!! Someone who is fun, active, sporty, responsible, trust-worthy, independent, outgoing and would love to be part of our family for up to one year, starting June 2018. We need help during the week, mostly mornings and afternoon/evenings with after school activities. Some help with housework would also be appreciated. As the mum is from Belgium, we try to speak Flemish at home and it would be a real bonus if you could speak Flemish/Dutch too, but not necessary!!! We are really looking for someone who wants to be part of the family, but also think that you need to go and spread your wings occasionally to discover this amazing country.
