The family that I live with are fantastic, Marta is the mother, She is a secondary school teacher who teaches technology in English, Marta is a very relaxed chilled person and i often spend my nights sitting with her having a beer and talking about life. The father is Jose, He works long long hours so he is often pretty tired but always up for a chat, He is the head of an engineering company in Madrid so he often isn't home until about 20:00 but he is here on the weekends and he too is a very relaxed laid back person. And the two girls, Maria and Celia are 6 year old Twins, but they are very very different little girls in personality. Maria is very affectionate, she loves kisses and cuddles, loves music and singing and dancing, She's very much a princess. And Celia is a little more boyish, She like to sing and dance also but she loves sports and also if Celia falls over I don't think I have ever seen her cry, She's a tough little cookie. The parents are more or less fluent in English so Spanish is not needed, and the two little girls have an amazing level of English, They always understand me and I talk with them, They often tease me about not having a boyfriend hahahaha,
Ok, This is going to sound unusual, but I am an Au pair working for a family. My names Steph, 19 year old irish girl, Right now I am helping them find a replacement for me when I leave. I have been living with the family for a few months now. I love it. I have a few jobs to do as well as look after the children, So let me tell you about my daily routine and then I will tell you about the family. I wake up most mornings around 7:00 maybe 7:20, I wake the girls up and get them dressed for school, then we go get some breakfast, The parents leave the house at around 8:00 for work and I walk the girls to the school bus (which is literally just outside that house) at 8:30. Now I am studying in a language school so i leave for college at 9 and return at around 1, But if you do not want to learn Spanish then you have the day to yourself. You are free from 8:30 until 16:30 when the girls get home from school, I pick them up from the bus, give them a snack and get started on homework, after homework i have to teach them English (we can discuss their study plan later if you are interested) and then i take them to the park to play or they have dance class or music. We shower the girls around 19:00/20:00, eat dinner, and then the parents put the girls to bed. On a saturday the parents require me to look after the children for a couple of hours in the morning
