We are a Finnish / Australian family of four and live in Kerava, Finland.Our family home is located approx 20 minutes by train to down town Helsinki. We have two children aged between 5 and 8 years of age. Our daughter, Sofia, is presently in her first year of school and our son, Oliver attends Montessori pre school close to home. We run an internet business from home, are extremely busy at times and need the assistance of an au pair to help care for the little ones.
We would love to welcome another au pair into our family home and are sad to be saying goodbye to a young girl from Germany who has been indispensable over the paste year she has lived and worked with us. We can offer the right individual a warm, friendly and loving family environment to join. Both of us are very easy going and down to earth. The right candidate needs to be a citizen of the EU, not prone to homesickness and aged between 20 and 30 years of age. We have a large, modern family home and our au pair will have her own private room with free broadband internet and balcony. Access to a wood fired sauna and spa bath. Call home as often as you like and both of us are qualified chefs so we can guarantee really tasty family meals. A Large open air ice skating rink is located next to our home. Brilliant mushroom and berry picking in the local forrest. Use the family quad bike all year round, horse ridding hire and tuition close bye. A public swimming pool as well as large department stores, restaurants, cafes and open air markets are also very close. We have access to a spacious summer house by a lake in the Finnish country side we often visit which is a great place to get away from it all and enjoy the finnish nature at its best. You can have access to one of the family cars when they are not required by us however we are located within walking distance to the major train line leading into the city.
