I am German living in Ireland for more than ten years. My son was born here in Cork two years ago. I have been studying in Cork music. I also recently finished a master in ethnomusicology. I am looking to find some work in the direction or anything close to it. I am interested in music censorship. However, here in Ireland, we rent a house on a farm. I myself have a dog and a cat living with my and my son in the house. There is a big farm yard with many animals that belong to my landlord, but we have access to nearly everywhere and are welcome to see the animals. Nearly in front of our door is a big and old Victorian garden. I do have a vegetable patch in there. There are plenty of wood walks and a small lake here, belonging to the farm. It is nice to have access to so much nature. We live pretty rural here. There is no public transport. I have a car and others living around have cars too, to be able to move around. My landlord has volunteers working for him. I sometimes give them lifts or socialise with them. It is nice to meet different people and it would be some company for the au pair here too to socialise with the volunteers here. I like working in the garden and also like to bake our own bread and make our own food as natural as possible. It would be nice if someone interested to come here, would have similar interests. Also, I am mainly speaking German to Malvin. It would be nice to have an au pair, that speaks a different language to him than me.
I am considering having an au pair living and helping me with my young son. He is nearly two years old and very energetic. He loves to be outside in the garden and the woods. I love being with him. Therefore I was not looking for someone else yet to mind him. But I also feel that I need a bit more space to do things on my own. I have not been playing music for over two years but I would like to start playing music again. Also, I would like to find a job or projects to work on. Therefore, I would be grateful, if someone would give me a hand with Malvin. If possible, that person should be experienced with children. I only have little money to spend. As I am a single parent and out of a job the au pair living with us and helping us should not expect payment. The position here would suit someone who is interested in different cultures and wants to learn English and/or German. We live in a really nice country place here.
