Personal introduction

We are looking for a loving, patient person to take care of our 2 year old daughter and possibly her 2 year old friend if you're willing. Our daughter is very active and busy. She loves to explore and play. She also loves to 'help' around the house. Someone who can teach her new things, and help her grow is a must. Somebody who loves music and plays an instrument or two is an asset. As well as someone who speaks another language. A valid drivers license is also an asset so that you can transport our daughter to various activities so that she can experience new things. MUST BE A NON SMOKER. NO DRUGS. Alcohol only on your days/evenings off. Someone with an imagination would be wonderful too.

The Au pair's job

The person would be expected to watch our daughter 3-4 days a week and possibly her friend 2-3 days a week possibly more if she needs it. The person would be compensated separately for the two children. We expect someone to play with the girls, interact with them, take them places, (library, park, for a walk). Light cleaning duties would be required (i.e clean up after the girls when you're on shift, maybe help tidy the kitchen, or transfer a load of laundry). Someone who can cook or is willing to learn would be fantastic. It would be nice to come home from work once a week or so to dinner already made.:) We also have 2 small dogs that would require care during the day. (Let them out in the yard periodically to use the 'bathroom', make sure they have water, and give them a pet once in a while. Possibly walk them occasionally.) We do have a 15 year old son who walks them in the morning but usually for less than 5 minutes. Must be able to prepare food for the kids. Also, it would be nice to have someone willing to work in the evening occasionally so that my husband and I can go on a date.:) We're also planning to start potty training our daughter in the next couple of weeks (her friend is already fully potty trained), so someone that is willing to aid us in that endeavour is a must.
