I am actually an au pair/nanny helping my family find my replacement. The family is Turkish, but lived in America for 15 years, so they're pretty Americanized. They speak perfect English as does the little girl. The girl was actually born in San Francisco and is just starting to learn Turkish. They are looking for a native English speaker. Non smoker.
The girl goes to school from 9:30-3:30. You will be responsible for getting her ready for school, taking her to and from school, (we have a driver) and playing with her until her mom gets home around 7pm. So, you basically work 5 hour days, unless the girl's on holiday - then you're working 9:30-7 (but that's 3 weeks out of the year). You get Sundays off and if they don't need you on Saturday, (which is usually the case) you get that day off as well.
